I have been away from posting for a couple weeks due to traveling home from France, catching up on what was waiting for me there ( a tablefull of mail to go through!)and then off again in less than a week to go to Colorado for a wonderful retreat with talented lovely women. I’m hoping to get started on some new work while I am here.
France remains in my heart and imagination and continues to inspire and fuel new work- perhaps based on the “sketch a day” I did this summer. When I get home to my scanner I’ll show you. This was the one art activity I was able to commit to doing on a daily basis and now I hope to use them in some other format- we’ll see.

La Cascade Art Retreat in Durfort is named for the lovely waterfall that is behind the house. The river Sor runs right behind the retreat house and we can sit on the shore and dangle our feet in the cool water (it’s great for that 3 PM lull!)
